Some of the biggest names in cricket will return to action in the inaugural edition of the International Masters League (IML) this year. The Six Nations T20 tournament is a joint venture led by Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar.

The International Masters League will be home to legendary cricketers from India, Australia, South Africa, West Indies, England, and Sri Lanka. This T20 event will give fans another chance to witness their favorite cricketers.

Sachin is the marquee player and league ambassador and will show his batting. Sunil Gavaskar is the League Commissioner. The games are scheduled in Mumbai, Lucknow, and Raipur.

“Cricket is growing across the globe and T20 format has added new fans to it. The tournament is an opportunity for the fans to relive the battles between some of the big names. Cricketers never retire at heart and we look forward to bringing the passion and excitement,” Sachin Tendulkar said.

“The T20 format gives us a chance to relive the magic of cricket and let fans witness their heroes once again. The IML is more than tournament and a chance for the fans to reconnect with some of the big names,” Sunil Gavaskar said.

While Gavaskar became a renowned commentator after retirement, Sachin made his presence felt as a guest in ICC events after hanging up his boots.
