Tomorrow (6 October) the first international T20 cricket match will be held between India and Bangladesh in this stadium. An international cricket match will be held in this stadium after 14 years.

Earlier, a One Day International match was played here between India and South Africa on 24 February 2010. It is noteworthy that in this match, Sachin Tendulkar had scored his first double century in ODI.
