Latest News :- The Enforcement Directorate has summoned former Indian cricket team captain Mohammad Azharuddin in a money laundering case to the Hyderabad Cricket Association scam. He has been summoned to appear at the Enforcement Directorate office in Hyderabad for investigation into alleged irregularities. This information has been confirmed by enforcement officials. The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau has filed a total of three First Information Reports and one charge sheet in connection with the misuse of funds worth Rs 20 crore by the Hyderabad Cricket Association.

After this, the Enforcement Department investigated this matter last November. Azharuddin has played 99 Tests and 334 ODI matches for the Indian team. He has a total of 15593 runs in his name. He has led the Indian team in the World Cup series thrice. The 61-year-old is working as an MP from the Congress party. In this context, the Enforcement Department has issued summons to him for the first time in the Hyderabad Cricket Association money laundering case.
