IND vs NZ: Team India has been announced by the selection committee of the Indian Cricket Board for the Test series against New Zealand. For the IND vs NZ series, only those players have been given a chance who were part of the Indian team in the Test series against Bangladesh.
Many cricket experts believed that by not selecting many talented players in the team selected by the BCCI management for the IND vs NZ Test series, the management has done great injustice to those players. It is being said that, these players can easily make their place in any other team in the world at this time.
Team India's wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan has not been included by the selectors in the team that has been announced by the BCCI management for the IND vs NZ series. Ishan Kishan had shown excellent performance in the recently played Duleep Trophy and Buchi Babu Cricket Tournament. Along with this, fast bowler Mohammed Shami has also been dropped by the selection committee in the IND vs NZ Test series. Shami is currently rehabbing and it is being said that, single-handedly, he would have outweighed the entire Kiwi team.
The players who have shown excellent performance in domestic cricket have not been given a place in the team that has been announced for the IND vs NZ Test series. Once again, opening batsmen Abhimanyu Easwaran, Yash Dayal and Saurabh Kumar have been completely ignored by the management. All these players are continuously showing excellent performance in domestic cricket.
