Gautam Gambhir: Team India has recently, under the coaching of Gautam Gambhir, badly defeated the opposing team in 2 Tests and 3 T20 matches in the Bangladesh series. After finishing its series against Bangladesh, Team India has to play a Test series against New Zealand from October 16. For which the selection committee has recently selected a 15-member team squad under the leadership of captain Rohit Sharma.

According to media reports, the selection committee is in favor of giving a chance in the New Zealand Test series to 4 such players who have done something amazing for the Indian team or in domestic cricket, but head coach Gautam Gambhir has given a chance to the New Zealand Test series. He was not given a chance to join Team India's squad in the series.

The Sri Lanka ODI series was quite ordinary for Team India's star batsman Shreyas Iyer. Due to which it is believed that Gautam Gambhir did not give him a chance to participate in the New Zealand Test series.

Ishaan Kishan

Ishan Kishan, who has not played any match for Team India in the last one year. He played a century in the Duleep Trophy but after that Ishan Kishan flopped once in the Irani Cup. Due to which Gautam Gambhir expressed confidence in Dhruv Jurel instead of Ishan Kishan as the second wicketkeeper batsman.
