India's Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar was recently on a visit to Pakistan for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference. During the conference held in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, a big lie about him was spread by the Pakistani media. It was said that in Islamabad, Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar has talked about cricket diplomacy with the Foreign Minister of Pakistan. But, Indian media has denied such things quoting its sources. Due to terrorist incidents and bad relations, the Indian government has not allowed Team India to go to Pakistan for almost 17 years. This decision of the Indian government has also become a hindrance in the path of Champions Trophy.
The ICC tournament Champions Trophy, being organized for the first time after 2017, is to be organized in Pakistan next year. But, whether Team India will go to Pakistan to participate in it or not has become a big question. The eyes of the whole world are fixed on the answer to this question. Amidst this suspense, Pakistani media published the news of discussion regarding cricket between the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan, which was denied by the Indian media.
According to what the Indian media wrote quoting its sources, nothing happened in Islamabad as shown and told by the Pakistani media in its report. ANI has written quoting its sources that there has been no discussion between India and Pakistan regarding the resumption of cricket relations during the visit of the Indian Foreign Minister to Islamabad.
