Team India: Champions Trophy is to be organized in Pakistan in the coming 2025. For which Pakistan has started its preparations. All the countries have geared up to participate in this tournament. There is a possibility that India will clash with Pakistan on March 1. In which there are two Indian players who can make their direct debut.
The ICC has divided the teams into groups for the Champions Trophy. India is in Group A, apart from India, it has New Zealand, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
19 February- Pakistan vs New Zealand
20 February- Bangladesh vs India
23 February- India vs New Zealand
24 February- Pakistan vs New Zealand
27 February- New Zealand vs Bangladesh
01 March- Pakistan vs India
The Champions Trophy started in 1998–99. In which India has been the winner twice. In 2002, India lifted the trophy sharing with Sri Lanka. After that, India became the winner in the year 2013. Also, the last time the Champions Trophy was played in the year 2017, in which Pakistan was the winner. After that now the Champions Trophy is happening.
However, it is not yet decided for India to go to Pakistan for the tournament. According to some media reports, it was being said that India will not go to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, but on the other hand, some media reports also say that India can tour Pakistan. No clear report has come yet on this. India is continuously demanding to conduct this tournament in hybrid model.
Champions Trophy is to be held in 2025 for which all the players have started their preparations. Players will be selected for this tournament on the basis of their current performance. Talking about young batsmen, this time young talent will be given a chance in the team. The team's young batsmen Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mayank Yadav may get direct debut considering their performance. Both the players have made their debut in T20.
Let us tell you that young all-rounder Mayank Batsman has not yet made his debut in the ODI format. He has made his mark in first class cricket and IPL. Talking about Yashasvi, he is batting brilliantly. If we look at his Test career, he has scored 1265 runs at an average of 60.23.
