Rahul may drop

The third match of the series is to be played in Mumbai. Where red clay pitch is used, it helps the fast bowlers as well as the spin bowlers. Keeping this in view, Gambhir has hinted towards making changes in the team. KL Rahul, who is continuously struggling with poor form in the team, can be dropped from the team while in his place, batsman Sarfaraz Khan, who scored a century in the first match, can be given a chance.

Sarfaraz can secure his place in the team by scoring a century in the first match. Sarfaraz had scored 150 runs in the second innings against New Zealand in the first match. Whereas Rahul flopped badly in this match, after which he can be dropped from the third test match. Talking about Rahul's performance this year, his performance is nothing special. He has scored 234 runs in 8 innings of 5 matches played this year at an average of 33.42. In which he has scored only 2 fifty.

Akashdeep may get a chance

In the third test match, Akashdeep can be given a chance in place of fast bowler Mohammad Siraj. Akashdeep has bowled well in all the matches played this year and has impressed people. Whereas Siraj's performance has been absolutely ordinary. Siraj has taken only 8 wickets in 10 innings of 5 Test matches in India this year.

Kuldeep Yadav is also struggling with poor form this year and his performance has also been up and down, due to which he can also be dropped from the team while Washington Sundar can be given a chance in his place. Sundar can be given a chance in the Kiwi team due to the presence of left handed batsmen in the team.
