Cheteshwar Pujara: Cheteshwar Pujara is known for his slow and durable batting. He likes to spend time at the crease. Their defense is so solid that it is very difficult to penetrate it easily, due to which they were called the new 'The Wall' of India. Due to his defense and ability to stay at the crease, he has not only helped Team India win many matches but has also helped in drawing many important matches.
Hardly anyone can forget his Sydney and Gabba innings in Australia. He has played many good innings in India itself, out of which the double century against Australia in Ranchi in 2017 and the double century against England in Ahmedabad in 2012 were very important.
It was because of his innings that India was able to draw in those matches whereas India got victory in the Gabba Test match. He faced 461 balls. Actually this match was played between Tamil Nadu and Saurashtra in the year 2013. In which Saurashtra won the toss and chose to bat first.
Saurashtra's opening batsmen were dismissed cheaply. After which Pujara took charge and along with captain Jaydev Shah, he defeated the Tamil Nadu bowlers.

Abhinav played a marathon inning of 240 runs while Karthik scored 133 runs. Tamil Nadu also declared the innings after scoring 565 runs and the match ended in a draw.
