Mumbai Test: In the ongoing three-match Test series between India and New Zealand, New Zealand has captured this series. New Zealand has already won the series 2-0, although its last match is to be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. A big update is coming out regarding this match. In which it is being said that Jasprit Bumrah can be rested in Mumbai Test.

Bumrah rested in Mumbai Test?

After the crushing defeat in the Pune Test, the phase of statements has started. Everyone is giving their opinion on this defeat, including former wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik.

Expressing great sadness over the defeat at the hands of New Zealand, he said that Yorker King Jasprit Bumrah should be rested for the third and last match of the series and Mohammed Siraj should be returned to the team.

He further said that Siraj had taken part in the opening Bengaluru Test of the series, taking 2 wickets in the first innings. After that, he was rested in the second test i.e. Pune test and Akash Deep was given a chance in the team. Bumrah has not performed well in the first two Tests, taking only three at an economy rate of 3.09 in the first Test.

Dinesh while talking to Cricbuzz said that Bumrah needs rest, hence Siraj should return to the team.

Bumrah's current performance

Jasprit Bumrah may not have made much contribution in the Test series against New Zealand, but before this, Bumrah has always been a troubleshooter for the team. He has always taken wickets for the team. Earlier, he had taken 11 wickets in the two-match Test series against Bangladesh.

Siraj's flop performance

If we talk about Mohammad Siraj, he is not going through good form. He has been given a chance in many series recently but he has not been able to take advantage of that opportunity.

If we look at his past statistics, he was able to take only 2 wickets in the first Test against New Zealand and only 4 wickets in four innings against Bangladesh. Apart from this, he also took only three wickets in the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka.
