For the Australia tour, the team did not leave together but was divided into two parts. The group with which Babar Azam has reached Melbourne. New captain Mohammad Rizwan and other players were not seen in it.

There is news of many players including Mohammad Rizwan leaving for Melbourne on 29 October. Pakistan Cricket informed about this while giving information about Babar Azam's arrival in Melbourne.

These players arrived with Babar Azam

The pictures and videos shared by Pakistan Cricket show that the players who have reached Melbourne along with Babar Azam include Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Irfan Khan Niazi and Faizal Akram. Apart from these, the rest of the players will leave for Australia along with Rizwan on October 29.

Pakistan tour to Australia

Pakistan has to play a series of 3 ODI and 3 T20 matches on Australia tour. The ODI series will start from 4th November. The last ODI will be played on 10th November. Whereas the T20 series will be played between 14 and 18 November.

New captain, new white ball coach and Australia tour

Before this tour, there were more upheavals in Pakistan cricket. White ball coach Gary Kirsten resigned just a day after the announcement of the new captain. PCB has also appointed Jason Gillespie as the new coach of the white ball team. Selector Asad Shafiq will also be with the team on the tour of Australia, who will support the captain and coach in deciding the playing eleven.
