Team India: The third match of the Test series between Team India and New Zealand (IND VS NZ) will be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai from 1st November. BCCI has made a big announcement before the Test match to be held at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

According to which now after playing the Test series against New Zealand, Team India will play a series of 3 ODI and 5 T20 matches against New Zealand. For which the selection committee will select only one 15-member team squad under the leadership of Ajit Agarkar.

Series against New Zealand to be held in white ball format in January 2026

Currently, a 3 test match series is being played between Team India and New Zealand (IND VS NZ), but after the end of the test series, the team will not play the white ball format against New Zealand and will go on Australia tour. In such a situation, BCCI and New Zealand Cricket Board have decided to play white ball format against each other in January 2026. Due to which at that time both the teams will play a series of 3 ODI and 5 T20 matches against each other.

Same team squad can be selected for both formats

After the Champions Trophy 2025 to be held in the year 2025, it is believed that Team India's stalwarts Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli can announce their retirement from this format also. In such a situation, reports are coming that the selection committee can select Shubman Gill in the white ball format in the year 2025. Due to which it was hoped that Shubman Gill would be the captain of Team India in the white ball format against New Zealand.
