'There is no fault in Kohli's technique'…Sunil Gavaskar told why Kohli is failing?

These days, there is only one question on everyone's lips - what has happened to Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli? Why are these two not scoring runs? The public itself is giving the answer to this question and that answer is – the time has come to remove both of them from the team…both do not play domestic cricket. Due to the fate of Rohit and Virat's batting in the Test series first against Bangladesh and then against New Zealand, these questions and answers are emerging. However, former great batsman Sunil Gavaskar has a slightly different opinion and he does not see any technical problem especially with Virat Kohli's form.

In the 6 innings of the Test series against New Zealand, Kohli scored only one half-century and despite that he could score only 93 runs in the entire series. This year, Kohli played 6 test matches and in all of them he scored only one half-century. Virat's ability is under question due to the way he got out against New Zealand, especially in 2-3 innings. Now it is feared that his career will also end before the Australia tour.

If the technology is not bad then why are they failing?

Everyone is analyzing this poor form of Kohli in their own way and everything from his technique to his temperament is being put in the dock. However, former captain and great batsman Sunil Gavaskar has a different opinion. In an interview given to a YouTube channel, Gavaskar expressed his opinion on this issue. On the question of Kohli's problem, Gavaskar said that there is no major problem with his technique.

Obviously, considering the current form, no one will agree with what Gavaskar said, but what he said also turns out to be an important angle. Gavaskar said that there is no flaw in Kohli's technique but luck is not favoring him. Gavaskar called Kohli 'unlucky' and said that wherever he makes just one mistake, his game is coming to an end. That means they are not getting a second chance after forgiving one mistake.

Will luck change in Australia?

Gavaskar also gave the example of the second innings of the Bengaluru Test match and said that in that innings, Kohli had batted well and scored 70 runs but he lost his wicket on the last ball of the day. Now whether the reason is a technical glitch or Kohli's bad luck, the overall loss is being incurred by Virat himself and Team India. Therefore, the hope would be that Kohli returns to form in Australia and scores runs with strong batting.
