Rishabh Pant rises in ICC Test rankings
Pant is currently gearing up for the upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia, which is set to begin from November 22 in Perth.
The star India wicketkeeper batter made a rapid rise in the ICC Test batting rankings after a stellar performance in the recently concluded three-match Test series vs New Zealand.
Pant was the top scorer of the series with 261 runs from three matches at an average of 43.50 and a strike rate of 89.38 with three half centuries.
Following his stellar show, he has to be on the sixth spot having 750 ratings to his name.
Pant played a magnificent knock of 99 in the first Test in Bengaluru and further scored two half-centuries in the last Test in Mumbai registering scores of 60 and 64.
