In Indian cricket, where great batsmen like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul are struggling for one run each, at the domestic level many unknown batsmen are scoring runs. Many centuries and double centuries are being scored in Ranji Trophy, but apart from this, in the BCCI Under-23 tournament, one batsman left everyone behind and scored more than 400 runs single-handedly. Young batsman Yashvardhan Dalal did this amazing feat in the match being played between Haryana and Mumbai in the ongoing Colonel CK Nayudu Trophy along with Ranji Trophy.

Hit hard from day one

In this match being played in Sultanpur, Gurugram, Haryana team came to bat first. On the first and second day of the match, Haryana's batsmen remained strong and kept scoring runs. For the team, the opening pair of Arsh Ranga and Yashvardhan Dalal destroyed the bowlers. Both completed their respective centuries and made a tremendous partnership of 410 runs for the first wicket. Ranga was out on the second day of the match after scoring 151 runs. However, Dalal's bat was scoring runs and he had also completed his double century.

On Saturday, Dalal continued his attack and made Mumbai bowlers yearn for wickets. The rest of the batsmen came and returned after playing short innings but Yash Dalal remained steadfast. Within no time, Yashvardhan completed his triple century and then also achieved that milestone which is very difficult for any batsman on the cricket field. Yashvardhan created history by touching the 400-run mark in 451 balls. This is one of the biggest scores of this tournament.

Was not out even after scoring 400 runs

On the basis of this innings of Dalal, Haryana also scored more than 700 runs. Even after making such a big score, Yash and his team did not rest in peace and kept batting till the end of the second day's play, while Dalal remained at the crease. Till stumps on the second day, Yashvardhan Dalal had scored 426 runs in just 463 balls, which included 46 fours and 12 sixes. The team has scored 732 runs after losing 8 wickets and has still not declared the innings. Well, Yashvardhan Dalal is used to playing big innings and he also makes big scores in different local tournaments. Not only with batting, but he has also been helping the team by taking wickets with his off-spin.
