Team India has made a strong start on the Australia tour and took the lead in the series by winning the very first match. Now both the teams will clash in the day-night test to be held in Adelaide from 6th December. Before this test, Team India has to play a practice match, the first day of which was completely washed out due to rain. Amidst all this, Team India's young batsman Shubman Gill was seen having fun along with practice, where he even made a bet with a special person for some money. This person was Abhishek Nair, the assistant coach of Team India.

BCCI posted a video on its social media accounts on Saturday, November 30, in which some Indian players, including Gill, were practicing in the indoor training facility of Canberra Stadium. Meanwhile, the team's fielding coach T. Dilip set up a competition between Abhishek Nair and Gill. This competition was to topple the single stump placed on the other side of the pitch with a direct hit.

Bet for Rs 2700 but who won?

As soon as Shubman Gill started aiming for the first time, coach Abhishek Nair directly put a bet in front of him that whichever of the two stumps he would knock down would get 50 dollars (Australian) i.e. about Rs 2750. Just then, both of them started targeting the stump. Gill and Nair got 3-3 chances but no one was able to knock down the stump. Both of them hit the stump once but could not topple it.

The funniest scene was seen here. Gill then called Dilip and asked him to target him. In his very first shot, T. Dilip hit the stump accurately and dropped it. Now whether Gill or Nair gave 50 dollars to the fielding coach or not, the fielding coach also showed them why he is in this role.

Will you return in the second test?

If we talk about Shubman Gill, the star Indian batsman could not play in the first test match. Even before the match played in Perth, Gill had suffered a thumb injury, due to which he was out of the match. Now eyes are on whether he will be able to return for the second test. However, Gill recently returned to the nets and was seen batting. However, there is still a slight doubt about his playing. If he comes on the second day of the practice match, then Team India will get a big relief.
