The ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2024 has reached its much-anticipated semifinal stage, setting the stage for thrilling clashes among four of the tournament's best teams.
With Pakistan U19, India U19, Bangladesh U19, and Sri Lanka U19 vying for a place in the final, fans are in for high-stakes action.
Pakistan U19 and Sri Lanka U19 topped Group A and Group B respectively with matches being played across two venues in Sharjah and Dubai. India U19 and Bangladesh U19 made the cut as group runners-up. Nepal U19, Japan U19, Afghanistan U19 and hosts UAE U19 were the teams who couldn't progress to the knockout stages.

Pakistan U19
Pakistan U19 topped Group A with an unbeaten record, showcasing strong performances from players like Shahzaib Khan and Abdul Subhan. Shahzaib is currently the leading run-scorer at 336 runs and have two centuries to his name while pacer Subhan took eight wickets and is the second highest wicket-taker in the group stages. Their consistent form makes them strong contenders against a resilient Bangladesh U19.
Bangladesh U19
Bangladesh U19, with a solid pace attack in Al Fahad and Iqbal Hossain, who have impressed with their raw pace. Fahad is also the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with nine wickets. The defending champions have a dependable batting lineup too as their skipper Azizul Hakim shot a century in the tournament while opener Kalam Siddiki managed a solid 95. They'll be looking to put up a tough fight against Pakistan in their semifinal clash.
India U19
India U19, finishing second in Group A, rebounded strongly from a loss to Pakistan with emphatic wins. With players like Ayush Mhatre, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, and Mohammad Amaan in fine form, they aim to test Group B toppers Sri Lanka. Question mark were raised on their bowling, especially with the new ball.
