Mumbai Indians had another easy game at home in the Indian Premier League 2024.

The hosts defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru by seven wickets at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Chasing 197 runs to win, Ishan Kishan (69 off 34) and Suryakumar Yadav (52 off 19) took the five-time champions to win. Mumbai complete the chase in 15.3 overs, with Hardik Pandya hitting a winning six.

Earlier, Dinesh Karthik and Rajat Patidar struck sensational half-centuries to take the visiting team to 196/8 in the allotted overs.

For MI, Jasprit Bumrah took five wickets.
