Former Team India cricketer Vinod Kambli had recently attended a memorial event of coach Ramakant Achrekar. During this time, he met his childhood friend Sachin Tendulkar, whose video is going viral on social media. His critical condition can be clearly seen in this video. He looked very weak physically and was struggling to speak during the event. Seeing his condition, fans and former players of Team India have expressed concern. Meanwhile, veteran Indian player Kapil Dev has come forward to help Kambli and has asked to bear the expenses of his treatment. But there is a condition for this.

Kapil Dev put this condition in front of Kambli

Vinod Kambli is addicted to alcohol. Because of this many of his fellow cricketers have gone away from him. Even at the memorial event of Coach Achrekar, Sachin was very hesitant while meeting him. Kambli had held his hand and was not letting go. However, despite all this, many players of his team including captain Kapil Dev, who made India the world champion for the first time, have offered help.

Balwinder Sindhu of the 1983 World Cup winning team has said that he has spoken to Kapil Dev and he wants to help Kambli financially. Sandhu further said, 'But he wants Kambli himself to go for rehab first. After this, no matter how long the treatment lasts, everyone is ready to pay the bill together. Let us tell you that before this, these same players had helped former player and coach Anshuman Gaikwad in the treatment of cancer.

Kambli's close friend denied

Vinod Kambli's close aide and former Indian domestic umpire Marcus Couto has refused to undergo any treatment in an interview given to Times of India. He revealed that Kambli was suffering from many serious diseases. He has already gone to rehab 14 times. So now there is no point in sending him back to rehab. He himself took him to rehab 3 times but nothing worked and he did not get rid of his addiction.
