Vaibhav Suryavanshi's name is currently echoing in every street of India. There was a lot of noise about his name due to his being sold for Rs 1.10 crore in IPL, now it is becoming more so because of the success he is having with the bat in the Under 19 Asia Cup. On the ground of Sharjah, where there was once a storm in the name of Sachin, Vaibhav's bat was also seen roaring in the Under 19 Asia Cup. Vaibhav scored a half-century in the semi-final match and showed that he is only 13 years old and has the potential to become a big player. But the fans were seen applauding the powerful innings played by Vaibhav in Sharjah. On this, his coach Manish Ojha, who taught him the tricks of cricket, got angry.
While talking to TV9 Hindi, Vaibhav's coach Manish Ojha told that he is a little angry. According to him, this anger was due to not finishing the match in the semi-finals. Actually, the coach wanted that the way Vaibhav had finished the match against UAE, it would have been better if he had returned after finishing the semi-final match against Sri Lanka as well. In the semi-final match played in Sharjah, Vaibhav was out after scoring 67 runs in 36 balls, which included 5 sixes. He was clean bowled by Sri Lankan bowler Manisha.
During the semi-final match against Sri Lanka, everything looked right in Vaibhav Suryavanshi's batting, except seeing him playing against the ball coming in with swing. We also asked his coach Manish Ojha about this whether he has noticed that? He also agreed that work would have to be done on that. For that, work will have to be done on Vaibhav Suryavanshi's shoulder position and stance. According to Manish Ojha, that deficiency will be removed with continuous practice.
But, overall coach Manish Ojha has found his disciple's batting excellent and has expected the same strong performance from Vaibhav in the finals as well. He said that one thing is certain that when Vaibhav's bat starts flying then no one will be able to stop him. This has been seen in the last two matches. Hopefully the same attitude and style will be seen in the finals also.
