IND vs AUS: Team India and Australia are facing each other in the second match of Border Gavaskar Trophy at Adelaide Oval. After winning the first Test in Perth, Team India is on the backfoot in the Adelaide Test. Captain Rohit Sharma, who returned to Team India with this test, has come under direct questioning due to his decisions. Rohit made such mistakes within 2 days, due to which Team India lagged behind. On the very first day of the match, the captain had won the toss and decided to bat, which the Australian bowlers proved wrong. After this, Rohit Sharma made another mistake on the second day, due to which Team India again had to suffer the consequences.

Bumrah was not used properly

Rohit Sharma's first mistake was to bat after winning the toss and that too on a pitch where bowling first would have been beneficial. After this, he made another mistake during the first session of the second day. Rohit bowled only four overs to Team India's star bowler Jasprit Bumrah in the first session of the second day, while the rest of the bowlers were getting beaten. Till that time, Bumrah had proved to be the most effective bowler and Team India was also in search of wickets.

Even though Rohit bowled only four overs to Bumrah in the first session of the second day, Jasprit had done his job well. He first sent Australian opener Nathan McSweeney to the pavilion. After this took the wicket of Steve Smith. But if Rohit had continued Bumrah's spell, India could have got more wickets so that the Kangaroo team's lead over Team India would not have been much. After this, Bumrah got a chance to bowl in the second session. In the second session, Bumrah took the wicket of captain Pat Cummins.

Team India limited to 180 runs

Team India, who came to bat first after winning the toss, could not even score 200 runs in the Adelaide Test. Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul started the innings. But Jaiswal became the victim of Starc on the very first ball of the innings. Starc broke the back of the Indian team by taking a total of 6 wickets in the match. Nitish Kumar Reddy, playing only his second Test, scored the most runs for India. Reddy played an aggressive inning of 42 runs in 54 balls and helped the team score to 180 runs.
