Big Cricket League 2024: Big Cricket League 2024 has started and in the very first match the fans got a chance to see tremendous thrill. In the first match of the tournament, Southern Spartans led by Suresh Raina faced Northern Challengers led by Shikhar Dhawan. The match was very high scoring, in which Northern Challengers won by 6 wickets. Playing first, Southern Spartans scored 203/4 in 20 overs, in reply Northern Challengers won the match by scoring 205/4 in 18.4 overs. Shikhar Dhawan was adjudged Player of the Match for his brilliant innings.

Suresh Raina showed his old style

After losing the toss and batting first, Southern Spartans did not have a good start and got the first blow at the score of 16. Faiz Fazal returned to the pavilion after scoring 9 runs in 11 balls. The second opener, Solomon Meare, batted brilliantly and scored 47 runs in 28 balls with four fours and three sixes. After this, captain Suresh Raina also did not disappoint his fans and played some tremendous shots in his familiar style. It seemed that Raina would score a half-century but he was unfortunately run out. He scored 49 runs in 27 balls, which included seven fours and one six. Wicketkeeper Shrestha contributed 36 runs. Whereas Aman Khan remained unbeaten after scoring 29 runs and Abhimanyu Mithun remained unbeaten after scoring 27 runs.

Shikhar Dhawan led his team to victory with a stormy innings.

Northern Challengers had a good start while chasing the target. Shikhar Dhawan made a half-century partnership with Vishal Prasad (13). After this, along with Rajat Singh (18) the score crossed 90. During this, Dhawan was seen batting in a very explosive style but missed the century. He scored 86 runs in 43 balls, out of which 64 runs were added with just four fours and eight sixes. Gurkeerat Singh Mann also played an inning of 33 runs. In the end, Bipul Sharma scored 33 not out in 19 balls and Samiullah Shinwari scored 9 not out to give the team victory.
