Ravichandran Ashwin, who has retired from international cricket, has spoken openly about his love story, career and family during an interview. In the interview, Ravichandran Ashwin and Preeti Narayan talked about their love story. Preeti told that we were classmates in school. After this Ashwin told that at that time there were no cell phones so I used to call Preeti. Preeti's father used to answer the phone all the time.

According to Ashwin, I met Preeti again during an event at Chennai Super Kings. At that time, Ashwin was a part of CSK as a player and Preeti used to manage the social media handles of the team. During the shoot, both of them met for the first time after a long time. Then Ashwin proposed Preeti on the cricket field.

Ashwin was asked, how is your normal life as a cricketer in Chennai? On this Preeti had said that Chennai in itself is not a very curious crowd. You know it won't bother you much, I would say that people are changing. After this Ashwin said that in the last 5 to 10 years it has been seen that people do not come making noise for photographs and selfies. Even if I meet some people, I smile and give them a photo and ask them to give me some space.
