After the shameful defeat in the Melbourne Test, everything is not going well within Team India. After falling 1-2 in the series, head coach Gautam Gambhir had given strict instructions to the Indian players. There were reports that many players were not seen following the instructions given by the coach and management. After this, Gambhir adopted a strict attitude in the dressing room and said, 'Enough'. This worsened the atmosphere further. But when these things inside Team India came out, former cricketers Irfan Pathan and Voorkeeri Raman got angry. Irfan simply said that dressing room matters should never come out.

Pathan angry over leaking of Team India's talks

Shrivats Goswami, who was a member of India's Under-19 World Cup winning (2008) team, has made a tweet on the X handle. He has written, 'How did the dressing room chat get leaked to the media? This is not right at all. Irfan Pathan also got angry on this matter. Irfan wrote, 'What happens in the dressing room, should stay in the dressing room only'.

Voorkeeri Raman also expressed his displeasure

Former cricketer Voorkeeri Raman is also not happy with Team India's dressing room talks becoming a part of the media headlines. But without talking much on this matter, he advised Team India to focus on the next match. Raman said, 'Team India has a chance to draw the series. Therefore, they should concentrate on their work. This is not the time to selectively leak (dressing room talks) and stoke the fire.

Gambhir's coaching also on target

Gautam Gambhir took over the post of head coach of the Indian team after India won the T20 World Cup 2024. In the six months since then, the performance of the Indian team under Gambhir's coaching has not been as per expectations. First, India had to face defeat in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. Then the Indian team also lost the Test series to New Zealand for the first time at home. Whereas India's performance in the current Border Gavaskar Trophy was also not good. In such a situation, Gambhir's coaching is under question.
