In the third over, Pathum Nissanka tried to pull the ball on Matt Henry's bouncer. But the ball took the upper edge of his bat and went over the wicketkeeper's head towards the boundary line.

The ball was high enough so the wicketkeeper also ran towards the boundary and while running in reverse, Mitchell Hay reached the ball and caught it. This catch of Haye is really surprising because usually the wicketkeeper is not seen taking such a catch.

429 runs were scored in the third T20

It was the first T20 International match of the year between Sri Lanka and New Zealand and 429 runs were scored in the very first match. Sri Lanka scored 218 runs and its batsmen hit 12 sixes.
