Actually, Athletics Federation of India has announced an International Javelin Competition. The world's top 10 javelin throwers will participate in it.

Adil Sumariwala, who was the President of AFI for 12 years, has informed about organizing the International Javelin Competition in India.

He told that the ten best javelin throwers in the world will be invited to this event, in which Neeraj Chopra will also participate. The biggest thing is that Neeraj will not only play in the tournament but will also completely supervise its organization. He has joined the team organizing this event.

AFI will get it done in collaboration with JSW and foreign firms. This decision has been taken in view of the increasing enthusiasm about Javelin because of Neeraj.

The objective of this event is that more and more youth of the country can know about this game and can represent the country in this game at the international level. At present, to compete with the world's best javelin throwers, one has to go to foreign tournaments in the Diamond League.
