Komal Khan's Pakistan failed to qualify for the Super Sixes of the U19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025 with a shock defeat against Ireland.

On Wednesday, January 22, Ireland, led by Niamh MacNulty, stormed into the second round of the multi-nation event after beating Pakistan by 13 runs (DLS) in the Group B match at the Johor Cricket Academy Oval.

Pakistan finished at the bottom of the table with one point and a net run rate of -3.271 and went home without winning a single match in the tournament. Their first match against the United States was abandoned without a ball being bowled. Then they slumped to a six-wicket win at the hands of England before Ireland took them down in a rain-marred clash.
