Aryna Sabalenka and Madison Keys of Belarus have made a great journey till the final. Sabalenka had defeated her close friend Paula Badosa of Spain in the semi-final match. In the important match, Aryana was successful in winning in straight sets by 6-4, 6-2. Sabalenka has won the Australian Open of 2023 and 2024. Now, if she wins the title once again, Sabalenka will become the first player in the 21st century to win three consecutive Australian Opens. Before her, this feat has also been done by Margaret Court Smith, Ivana Goolagong, Steffi Graf and Monica Seles in the last century.

Madison Keys of America defeated Inga Swiatek of Poland in the semi-finals. Keys won the important match 5-7, 6-1, 7-6 (8) and entered the title match. Keys, who is ready to play her second Grand Slam final, had earlier made it to the final of the 2017 US Open.
