Team India started the T20 series against England with a spectacular victory. In the first T20 match played in Kolkata, Team India had achieved success by 7 wickets. Now it is the turn of the second T20 match, which is being held in Chennai. Like the first match, this time also Team India will start the match with bowling. Both the teams have made 2 changes each in this match, in which one player has got a chance to debut in T20 International.
In this match being held at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Team India was forced to make two changes in this match because Rinku Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy were out due to injury. Reddy is out of the entire series due to side strain, while Rinku Singh is out for at least 2 matches due to back stiffness. Both these players were part of the playing eleven in the first match. In place of Rinku and Nitish, Shivam Dubey and Ramandeep Singh have been included in Team India's squad but they will be available from the third T20. In such a situation, captain Surya and coach Gautam Gambhir have given a chance to spinner Washington Sundar and wicketkeeper-batsman Dhruv Jurel in the playing eleven of the second T20 in Chennai.
