A very bad news has come out for Indian cricket. In fact, Milind Rege, who was the captain of Mumbai team in domestic cricket, died due to a heartbeat on Wednesday i.e. on the morning of 19 February. According to the report, his kidney also stopped working. Let me tell you that last week, 16 February, he celebrated the 76th birthday and took his last a few days later. Now he has his wife and two sons in the family. He had a big name in domestic cricket and was a special friend of Team India veteran Sunil Gavaskar. The two had played together for Mumbai.

Had to leave cricket due to heart attack

It is said about Milind Rege that there was a lot of passion for cricket.

But at the age of 26, he had a heart attack. Because of this, he had to give up his favorite game. If this did not happen, he could have played for Team India. However, he was limited to domestic cricket only in his career. Even after leaving the game, he was associated with cricket and continued to serve the Mumbai Cricket Association. He was the selector of MCA for nearly 3 decades. It was also part of its Cricket Improvement Committee. Currently, even at the age of 76, he was associated with the association as a cricket advisor.

Had given a chance to Sachin

India's legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar made his domestic cricket debut in the 1988-89 season. Then he was with just 15 years.
