RCB’s unforgettable night
RCB have struggled in the ongoing IPL season. They will have to win the remaining seven games to salvage the season. The bowlers of Bengaluru faltered as Hyderabad posted 287-3. Travis Head scored the fourth fastest IPL century, leaving RCB bowlers in shatters. All the bowlers leaked runs, with Reece Topley, Yash Dayal, Lockie Ferguson and Vijaykumar Vyshak each conceding over 50 runs in their 4 overs.
Though Dinesh Karthik scored 83 runs at a blistering strike rate of 237.14, his heroic efforts were not enough, as the home team still fell short by 25 runs, finishing on 262 for 7. With this loss, the Bengaluru-based franchise faces an uphill battle when they take on Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday, April 21 at Eden Gardens.
