Michael Slater News: Former Australian cricketer and commentator Michael Slater has received a big shock.

An Australian court has sentenced Michael Slater to prison on charges including assault and stalking. According to media reports, more than a dozen charges have been filed against Michael Slater. These include serious charges such as unlawful stalking, threatening, assault, entering a house at night with any intent, causing bodily harm and strangulation.

Earlier on Monday, Michael Slater was produced in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court in Queensland. According to media reports, Michael Slater is facing a total of 19 charges for alleged offenses on the Sunshine Coast on various dates between December 5 and April 12.

Michael Slater is facing 10 charges including breach of bail and a domestic violence order.

Michael Slater, 54, was devastated when a Queensland magistrate rejected his bail application. The court heard that Slater suffered from mental health problems. As a result, ABC News reported that he was acting impulsively and recklessly.
