Lucknow: In the thrilling match played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Eden Garden, Rajasthan won by 2 wickets. At one time in this match, RR seemed behind but opener Jos Buttler led his team to victory by playing a century. In this match, RR had won the toss and decided to bowl first but their decision backfired on them and KKR, batting first, scored 223 runs on the basis of Sunil Narine's brilliant century.
In this match, Narine faced 56 balls and scored 109 runs with the help of 13 fours and 6 sixes for Kolkata. Apart from him, no other player of KKR could perform well. However, in the last overs, young batsman Rinku Singh batted aggressively and scored an unbeaten 20 runs in 9 balls. Apart from him, Angkrish Raghuvanshi also scored 30 runs in 18 balls. Kolkata had scored 223 runs at the loss of 6 wickets but despite this they had to face defeat.
