The first semi -final of the Champions Trophy between India and Australia in Dubai has started. India lost the toss and Australia decided to bat first. On the very first ball of this match, Team India became the biggest mistake. Mohammed Shami dripped the catch of Australia's Dhakad player Travis Head on the first ball. For India, leaving the catch of a dreaded batsman like head can become a big threat.

Travis Head and Cooper Konoli landed to start the innings for Australia. The first ball faced by Travis Head. Shami put the head between the first ball, on which he played a shot in front.

Even though Mohammed Shami had made a big mistake on the first ball of the match, he gave India a sigh of relief in his second over. Shami moved Cooper Konoli on the last ball of his second over. Taking the outer edge of Cooper's bat, the ball got into the hands of wicketkeeper KL Rahul.

Cooper faced 9 balls but could not even open the account. He was injured in place of Matthew Short, which was out of the tournament. But big matches could not show any special feat.

Travis Head is a batsman whose bat rises a lot of fire against India. He was the highest batsman to score the most 448 runs during the recent Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He had earlier scored 137 runs against Team India in the 2023 ODI World Cup final and snatched the match from India. While the head also played amazing innings in the WTC final of 2023. Then he scored 163 runs in 174 balls against Indian bowlers.
