Former India player Ambati Rayudu is sure to see Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2024 playoffs. He is actually backing the two franchises to make it to the finals, with CSK winning their sixth title.
The former player of Chennai and Mumbai has now said that Gujarat Titans have the players who can take the team to the top-four finish. The Titans have won three games and lost as many so far.
Shubman Gill, leading them for the first time, has done well with the bat. His batting contributions have won the games.
“Gujarat Titans have a strong squad and they have several match-winners in the team. The team is looking good and don’t be surprise if they play in the playoffs this season. Gujarat have a good coaching staff,” Ambati Rayudu said on Star Sports.
GT suffered a big blow in the form of Hardik Pandya, who left the franchise to join Mumbai Indians ahead of the new season. If this was not enough, Mohammed Shami was ruled out of the season after failing to recover from his ankle injury.
