In the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Tuesday, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) opener Sunil Narine scored 109 runs in 56 balls in the match against Rajasthan Royals (RR).

After the match, West Indies captain Rovman Powell, playing for Rajasthan Royals, said that we are requesting Sunil Narine to postpone his retirement. We hope that he will change his mind before the team is selected for the T20 World Cup.

Powell said, ‘If we talk about Rajasthan Royals team, the players are in good condition and this will continue for a long time.

I am batting at number 4 or 5 for West Indies and if you think West Indies is a good T20 team then you can send me up. I will also keep talking to the team management regarding this.

Powell is playing the role of match finisher for Rajasthan Royals.
