“We have a lot to be happy about today. “We have started to think like champions and our team showed today that we can play like that and it was really nice to see.”

Regarding the performance of the bowlers, he said, “Definitely one of the best performances, this is the beginning of the tournament. Can't say much, because we can improve individually. The only thought in my mind before coming on the field was how to do better, even when I was going through my rehab, this was the only thought in my mind.”

Rishabh Pant told that he wanted to chase the small target given by Gujarat as soon as possible. They said,

“Our only conversation before chasing the target was that let's achieve this target as quickly as possible, we had lost a few run-rate points earlier and today we covered that.”
