Chandigarh: After a heartbreaking loss against Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede, the Mumbai Indians are back on the road and on Thursday they take on the Punjab Kings in Mullanpur. But ahead of the match, ex-MI captain Rohit Sharma was asked about the Impact Sub rule in IPL 2024 and he raises concerns over it. Claiming that he is not a big fan of the Impact Sub rule, Rohit said that it takes away a lot for players like Shivam Dube and Washington Sundar as they do not get to bowl.

“Not a big fan of IMPACT Player rule. It’s holding back the all-round talent of Indian players like Washington Sundar & Shivam Dube as they don’t get to bowl which is not great for us as the Indian team” Rohit Sharma on Club Prairie podcast with Gilchrist.
