He said, “The first thing that comes to my mind is the World Cup final. I was torn in that final whether I should dominate against Mitchell Starc or not. At that time the ball was reverse swinging and it was becoming difficult to bat against Starc. In such a situation, I was stuck thinking whether I should attack against him or not and take a chance against him or not. I was out at a very important time.”

Rahul further said, “I feel that if I had extended the innings and batted till the remaining overs, we might have scored 30 or 40 more runs. After this it was possible that we could have won the World Cup also. “This is something I still regret.”

KL Rahul also gave a big statement on the captaincy of Rohit Sharma
