Demerit points will decide for the player's punishment

Now any player will be given demerit marks. Who will stay in the account of that player or team for exactly 36 months i.e. 3 years. If the player is found guilty of violation of Level-1, then he can be fined 25 % of the match (IPL 2025) fee and 1 demerit points.

In IPL (IPL 2025), 3 to 4 demerit marks will be added to Level-2. At the same time, 5-6 demerit marks will be added for violation of Level-3 and 7-8 demerit marks on Level-4. This is a matter of demerit digits. Now it is important to know how much punishment will be given on how many demerit marks.

Demand can be banned based on demerit marks

According to Article 7.6 of the Code of Conduct in the IPL, the player will be suspended for a match if 4 to 7 demerit points are held. At the same time, this suspension will be for 2 matches after adding 8-11 points. If a player earns 12–15 demerit points over a period of 3 years, he may be banned for 3 matches. And if the demerit digits are 16 or more. So it can be banned for up to 5 matches.
