Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma created history when he clashed with Punjab Kings in the 33rd match of IPL 2024. This match is being played today on 18th April at Maharaja Yadvendra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur. Rohit Sharma has become the second player after MS Dhoni to play 250 matches in the history of IPL.
The 36-year-old hitman started his IPL career with Deccan Chargers in 2008. The Chargers are no longer in the tournament. Rohit remained a part of this team till 2010 and joined the Mumbai Indians team in 2011. After this, he became the captain of the franchise in 2013. The star batsman changed the fortunes of the franchise by winning five IPL titles.
