In the 33rd match of IPL 2024, Mumbai Indians fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah (jasprit bumrah) bowled brilliantly and clean bowled Rilee Rossouw of Punjab Kings. In this match being played at Maharaja Yadvendra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur, Punjab's stand in captain Sam Curran had won the toss and decided to field first. In this match, Mumbai, batting first, managed to score 192 runs by losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Right-arm fast bowler Bumrah, who came to bowl the second over of the innings, bowled a yorker to Rousseau on the fourth ball which swung late. Rousseau tried to play drive on that ball but his feet did not move. The ball quickly hit the stumps. Rousseau, who was playing his first match this season, was out after scoring just one run.

After this, Bumrah bowled the last ball fuller length to Sam Curran which was outside the leg stump. Sam tried to flick it but the ball did not hit the bat. The umpire gave this ball wide but Bumrah felt that this ball was not wide and had touched Karan. He asked wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan who had caught that ball. After this DRS was taken and in the replay the ball was taking the edge of the bat. Bumrah got the wicket. Bumrah had asked captain Hardik to take DRS to stop the wide and he got the wicket. Sam was out after scoring 6 runs in 7 balls with the help of one four.

For Mumbai, Surya faced 53 balls and played a half-century inning of 78 runs with the help of 7 fours and 3 sixes. Apart from Surya, Rohit Sharma played innings of 36(25) and Tilak Verma 34(18)* runs. Sky and Rohit added 81 (57) runs for the second wicket. Surya made a partnership of 49 (28) runs with Tilak for the third wicket. Harshal Patel took maximum 3 wickets for Punjab. 2 wickets went to Karan and one wicket to Kagiso Rabada.
