Parthiv said no matter who’s the captain of the MI side, Rohit will always be the leader of the team.

Mohali: Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya are popular figures in Indian cricket. Both cricketers enjoy a massive fanbase and that has been pretty evident after Hardik was appointed as captain of MI. Hardik has been facing the heat immensely from all quarters as the results have not gone their way. But on Thursday night, Mumbai won in Mohali as they beat Punjab in a thriller. During the game, when the MI side were under the pump, Hardik was spotted taking Rohit’s advise and that is what former India cricketer Parthiv Patel pointed out.

Parthiv said no matter who’s the captain of the MI side, Rohit will always be the leader of the team.

“Hardik Pandya was taking help of Rohit Sharma when they were under pressure. No matter who’s the new captain, Rohit will always be leader of Mumbai Indians,” Parthiv said on-air.
