There have been some major changes in the West Indies team. The board has decided to make She Hope the captain in T20 format. Earlier, Rowman Powell was commanding the team in this format. He had this responsibility since May 2023. He had taken the West Indies to the Super-8 in the T20 World Cup 2024. However, now he will be the leader of the Hope T20 team in his place. Hope already has ODI captaincy. Head coach Darren Sammy has supported Hope to be made the T20 captain.
