In a dramatic twist during Match 56 of IPL 2025 between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans at Wankhede, Ashwani Kumar, who was brought in as a concussion substitute for Corbin Bosch, delivered a game-changing blow by dismissing the dangerous Jos Buttler.

The breakthrough came in the 12th over when Buttler, batting on 30 off 27 balls, attempted an aggressive shot off a length delivery that angled away from the off stump.

Although the on-field umpire turned down the appeal for a caught behind, a confident Jacks persuaded Rohit Sharma to take the review. UltraEdge confirmed a faint edge as the ball passed the bat, and Buttler was declared out — a massive moment for MI.
