The BCCI has suspended IPL 2025 before the final stages due to tension between India and Pakistan on the border. The BCCI announced that keeping in mind the security, the league has been suspended for just a week.

After one week, this season can be started this season keeping in mind all the things. The BCCI is thinking about getting the remaining matches of this league at home, due to which a window of 15-20 days is being searched.

The remaining matches of IPL 2025 may be in 5 cities:

Talking about IPL, all 5 matches of the remaining this season can be held in 5 cities. In this list, the names of Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Kolkata come out which are present on the east and southern border. All these grounds are far away from the stressed areas between India and Pakistan.

There will not be much changes in the old schedule

Talking about the old schedule of IPL 2025, the qualifier of this season was to be played in Kolkata ground earlier, while Eliminator and Qualifier 1 was to be played in Hyderabad which will still be played. Apart from this, the remaining 12 matches can be distributed in the remaining grounds, out of which 3 matches were already to be held in Bengaluru or Chennai.

England wants to host IPL 2025:

The hope of hosting the IPL out is less visible. However, in the meantime, the England Cricket Board has given its name to host the remaining matches of this league. They are ready to host the remaining matches.
