The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 final, which was scheduled to be played on May 25, has now been moved to a later date, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Monday.
The league was suspended a day after the game between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals on May 8 was postponed midway.
As the two South Asian nations agreed to a ‘full and immediate ceasefire’ on May 10, the BCCI expedited the process of resuming the IPL, eventually releasing the modified schedule on May 12.

WHEN IS THE IPL 2025 FINAL?
The IPL 2025 final will be played on June 3 instead of May 25. Though the venue for the summit clash was Eden Gardens according to the old schedule, the new schedule does not mention a confirmed stadium yet.
The 18th edition of the IPL is in its final stretch with 16 matches left, including the playoffs. Gujarat Titans is leading the points table with 16 points with seven teams involved in the race for the playoffs.
