After the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to resume on 17th May with a night match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Bengaluru.

2) 6 Venues Decided For Completion Of IPL 2025 League Matches

6 venues have been decided for the completion of IPL 2025 matches. Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Ahmedabad will be the venues for the league matches.

3) PBKS-DC Abandoned Match To Be Played On Jaipur In May 24

The Punjab Kings-Delhi Capitals match which was stopped mid-way due to the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan is set to be re-played on May 24 in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

4) Two Sundays To Have Double Headers To Make Up For Lost Time

It was earlier reported that IPL 2025 resumption would have double headers to make up for the lost time. So 18th May and 25th May will have double headers for smooth completion of the league matches.

5) IPL 2025 Playoffs To Commence From 29th June

As per the revised schedule, IPL 2025 playoffs will commence from 29th June. The venues are yet to be decided.

6) IPL 2025 Final To Take Place On 3rd June

The summit clash of the 2025 edition will take place on 3rd June. The venue of the final match will be communicated later.

7) From Hazlewood To Starc- Foreigners Likely To Miss IPL 2025 Resumption

A lot of foreigners are likely to miss the resumption due to injuries, national team commitments and are unwillingly to return to India due to hostile situation. Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Romario Shepherd, Jos Buttler, Lungi Ngidi, Liam Livingstone are few of the notable names that could miss the remainder of the tournament.

8) BCCI Asks Franchises To Bring All Foreign Players For IPL 2025 Resumption

Before the revelation of the new schedule, BCCI have reportedly communicated to all the franchises to call all their foreigners for the completion of the tournament.

9) CA Issues Statement For Australia Players For IPL 2025 Resumption

Cricket Australia (CA) issued a statement on May 13 regarding the participation of its players in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, which is set to resume on May 17 following a ceasefire along the India-Pakistan border.

The abrupt halt of the 18th edition due to the conflict had left several Australian cricketers unsettled.

In light of the situation, CA has decided to give its players the freedom to choose whether or not to return to the tournament. This decision applies even to those expected to feature in the World Test Championship (WTC) final against South Africa, scheduled to begin just over a week after the IPL final on June 3.
