Matthew Potts, Brydon Carse Named In England Squad for Home Tour Against West Indies

Matthew Potts and Brydon Carse are named in the England squad for the white ball series against the West Indies, which begins in the latter stages of May.

Meanwhile, Liam Livingstone has been left out of both white-ball squads for the series, while Liam Dawson has earned a recall to the T20 setup for the first time since September 2022, but will only feature in the T20Is.

In Harry Brook’s first captaincy assignment, England has also included Tom Hartley back into the ODI squad after the spinner last played for them in September 2023.

Meanwhile, Liam Dawson and Luke Wood, who last played the T20I series in September 2022 and September 2023, are back in the T20I squad.

Jos Buttler who regained his form featuring for the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) has been named in both the squads.

Brydon Carse has been named in the both the England squads, after he underwent surgery on an injured toe, sustained due to workload in Pakistan and New Zealand.

On the other hand, Jofra Archer has also been named in the ODI squad along with Gus Atkinson, Saqib Mahmood and Jamie Overton.

Jofra Archer has been omitted from the three match T20I series, which is scheduled to start on June 06.

ECB added Will Jacks in both squads in place of Livingstone and Tom Banton, who was a suprise replacement fro the injured Jacob Bethell for that tournament.

Meanwhile, inform Phil Salt has missed the spot from ODI squad after his struggles in the 20 over format into the longer format. Joe Root is retained while Adil Rashid keeps his place as England’s premier leg spinner even at the age of 37.
