IPL 2025: IPL will start again from Mahamukabala, RCB and KKR to compete tomorrow

IPL 2025: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said on Monday that the season of IPL 2025 will now be resumed from 17 May. This decision has been taken three days after the tournament was stopped for a week due to tension between India and Pakistan.

On May 10, there was a ceasefire between the two countries, after which the BCCI has decided to resume the tournament. Now 17 matches of IPL will be played from 17 May to 3 June. These matches will be held in 6 cities – Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. According to the revised schedule, there will also be two double-headers i.e. two matches in two days, which will be played on Sunday.

The first match will be between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders after the IPL resumes. The match will be played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium (Bengaluru). The BCCI will later give information about the Venue (location) of IPL playoff matches.

Let us tell you that on May 8, the match of Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamshala was stopped in the middle. After this, the IPL was postponed for some time. Now this match will be played again in Jaipur on 24 May. The final of IPL 2025 will be held on 3 June.
